Description
These were individual trays of freeze dried food, possibly made by Campbells. You peeled back the paper, added boiling water and folded the paper back till it was done. I remember a chicken flavor (with rice or noodles and little cubes of carrots that never really softened), but there were others. Freeze drying was new technology at the time and food that didn't need refrigeration was a wonder. Very cool at the time.
