This macaroni & cheese came in a box (like Kraft) but you didn't have to drain the macaroni. All of the ingredients (water, macaroni, butter, milk, cheese powder) were put into the pot at once and when it was done boiling it was ready to eat. It tasted great and was SO easy! We had this in California in the mid-70's.

I was a really picky eater as a kid. I remember one time when I would only eat Stir-n-serve mac and cheese for dinner. For almost a whole year, that's what I would have... and only my sister could make it the way I liked it: it was sooo creamy! Must have driven my folks crazy!
