Description
Remember the commercial with the woman or man that wakes up and catches the spouse eating the cookies at night? It went something like "Are you eating a cookie?" "No", the Spouse replies, "Breakfast". "Well it looks like a cookie" responds the spouse or something to that effect. Then the announcer would chime in about Stella D' Oro cookies for breakfast....again, I don't remember the exact dialogue. I remember she was wearing rollers in her hair and a pink or blue bathrobe. Anyone else remember this as well?

WHY ISN'T THIS COMMERCIAL ON THE INTERNET

These cookies were dry and nasty, although you could get a giant box for cheap. I think that's why they were so popular. They remind me of those giant boxes of assorted cookies they sell at Hispanic food stores, like the Surtido Rico (Tasty Collection) brand. They're dry and nasty too.

A big thumbs-up & hearty second for Patton's bit about the pride of Stella d'Oro. The exact product that you & Robb are describing were the Stella d'Oro Breakfast Treats.
