spree .....candies that kind of look like sweet tarts only with a colored coating they were sweet outside and sour inside. they came in a paper package like razzles, and had a picture of a guy and girl laughing on them

Spree Candy goes back to 1966, by the Sunline (later, Sunmark) Candy Co. out of St. Louis. Nestle bought rights to it in 1973. Spree was a bit hard on teeth. Better to just let dissolve in mouth.
