Description
Route 66 was a root beer type beverage. It came in a reddish can, with white lettering. For some odd reason, I remember it was made by Anheiser-Busch.

Route 66 Root Beer is more recent than the 1970s. The first shipments were from 1996, by the Route 66 Soda and Bottling (independent company) in Wilmington, Illinois. Created to commemorate the 70th anniversary of when the original Route 66 was connected and opened. An 80th anniversary series came out in 2006.
