The Roman Foods Company of Newark, NJ sold this pizza. Plain cheese, sausage or pepperoni. Sold each for a buck. Sized like a Jeno's. Company existed from 1968 to 1976, marketing primarily in Greater New York and New England areas. A 1969 TV commercial has a costumed "Roman" (resembled Marc Antony) who drove a two-horse chariot down a modern-day street, tossing boxed pizzas around. A contemporary family is shown baking and eating it.
