Description
orange sherbert popsicles in the spotted cardboard tube (like a toilet tissue roll) there was a plunger type plastic thing in the tube that would push up the sherbert - hence the name Push-up. I think they are still available today.

I used to buy these in high school. The ones we had had vanilla ice cream with a ribbon of fudge swirled through them they were wonderful.I used to chew on the plastic disc when I was done.

I used to love these too and I think they had a raspberry flavored one too!

Although I'm 32 (I grew up in the '80s) I remember Push-Ups. I loved them then, and I still do! They were fun to eat, although I don't recall a raspberry flavor...they must've stopped making that one when I came along in 1978 ;-)

In the 60's they had a wooden stick and instead of a plastic disk it was cardboard. Back then I only remember orange but I know they had others in the 70's.

Push-Ups were introduced by the Joe Lowe Company (makers of PopSicles) in 1967. At first, only orange sherbet was offered. Quickly, many copycats appeared by rival companies. Nestle now sells Push-Ups, in a wider variety of flavors.
