Description
Caffeine free Pepsi, and also a diet. It was good--started in the late 80's or early, not sure. I drank it when I was pregnant with my first child who is now 17, so I wouldn't drink too much caffeine, since I loved Pepsi.

Here's the song that was sang in the Pepsi Commercials of the 70s..The words and lyrics were wriiten by Barry Manilow (the singer who sang and wrote the song, "I Write The Song"): "Join the Pepsi People, You'll be feeling free..Join the Pepsi People, you'll be feeling free - ee - ee - ee. All across the Nation, There's a Pepsi Generation. Here today, Here today, Feeling free!" (ends)

According to the PepsiCo website, Pepsi Free first became available in 1982. Pepsi Light (lemon flavored) first came out in 1974. Found an earlier Pepsi/Diet Pepsi TV commercial with Joanie Sommers ("Johnny Get Angry") singing "Come Alive (You're in the Pepsi Generation)," which aired on "Lost In Space" (2/16/66, CBS).
