Description
White, chewy, spearmint flavored candy that came in packs of individually wrapped squares. They weren't around very long, but they were definitely introduced some time in the mid 70s.

I LOVED Pacers. They were spearmint flavored Starbursts, pure and simple

Initially they were all white, then they 'upgraded' them to include four or five thin green stripes around each chew. They were lovely!

Supposedly the company was located in Yonkers, NY and went out of business in the mid seventies (I was told that by a neighbor at the time, she said her granfather worked at the Pacers factory so she always had a huge supply).

These were huge in England throughout the 70's. I think they were made by Rowntree's there.

I found this page on my quest for information about Pacers. I used to love these things. Bummed that they don't make them anymore.
