Description
No one remembers this. It was a chocolate bar with Ovaltine granuals mixed in - gave it a crunchy, malty flavor. Was supposed to be "healthier" than regular chocolate bars because of the Ovaltine. Also, a 3 layer chocolate bar with a layer of white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate all stacked together.

I bought some in Frankfurt just across from the central train station. They were made in Switzerland as was the regular Ovaltine mix. Sorry I didn't buy more.

They were great! Bought one every day at the school bookstore. It was in a plastic tray (actually the mold) in the wrapper, kept it from breaking, they were really thin, but oh so yummy. Haven't found them on the web anywhere in the states.

When I was a little kid in 1970's my dad used to buy them for me at a drugstore in Park Forest, Illinois. I drink the Ovaltine Chocolate Malt Powder now but I miss the candy bars.
