Description
They were little chocolate cookies that had a little monster bite taken out of each one. I remeber them around I think 1976 or 1978.

OMG! I loved these cookies soooo much as a child! Does anyone else remember them?
Yes!!!!!! My Mother would always go to the bakery and buy these monster chomps for us. There were different color boxes and flavors. I remember the red box the most. They were so gooood!
The chocolate chip are most memorable for me...my aunt always had them and i would stay at their house during Thanksgiving Holiday...me and my cousin would grab the box and two tall glasses of ice cold milk....Heaven!
my daughter loved them as a kid. now I have two grand daughters . does anybody know who made them? I would like to write them and ak them to bring them back.
I agree. In a world where everything old is new agian this would make a great comeback. Loved these cookies, great memories of my childhood.

I was infatuated as a child with scary movies & Monster Chomps were something my mom bought all the time for me. She made sure to always my favorite (the chocolate) ones on hand. I wish they'd bring them back. I'm 43 now & I have such good memories about them. Thanks mom for never trying to change me & for pacifying my obsession. May they raise Monster Chomps from the dead. :)
They were the best snack! My kindergarten teacher gave them to us at snack time. I would love to see what the package looked like.
What no one saved a box? Cant find a single image anywhere. Loved these. Used to cut the pictures off the box.
I remember consoling myself over the end of Sonny and Cher with these...Then it returned as just "Cher" and the darn cookies were gone. The world was just too cruel to let them both survive at once.
I remember them too. Chocolate Chip, sugar, chocolate, and oatmeal. Each with its own monster. A really good idea!
I only remember the Chocolate Chip. Back in 82-83, my college brothers would go grocery shopping at the IGA, walk back to the dorm, and eat a whole bag of those suckers.

Wow!!! Im now 50 yrs old and ive never forgot them. The little mom and pop store that was near our family church was the only place i knew to have them it was too far from my home so i only got them on Sundays. my grandma would give a dollar to give as a offering and another dollar for my weekly treat. (MONSTER CHOMPS PLEASE COME BACK)
