The correct spelling is Lik-M-Ade. I can guarantee it because I worked for many years at the company which made it. Introduced in the early 40's, the original came in a small envelope. Kids poured the powder onto their palms and licked it off, hence the name Lik-M-Ade. Years and years later it evolved into Fun Dip, maybe for sanitary reasons.
