Description
a reddish-purplish, overly concentrated fraudulent juice-like product (at least on the east coast) in the mid- to late '70's. i think it came in a red cardboard pint container with some typical jungle animals (in white?) the flavor was that of an over-vitamin C'd children's drink with some watery fruity goodness underneath. pretty bad, but it just worked!

unbelievable... this is the only place on the internet that i found any info on jungle juice. i used to drink this stuff in middle school when i lived in texas for a year or so and i remember loving it. i tried finding it in california but to no avail. thanks for the memories.
Mann... This 35 cent drink got me and my friends threw tha long summer! It came in a milk carton type of package lol! Wish i had an image to take me back to my childhood.

If I could Find this anywhere Near me I would buy Cases of it on the Spot! I'm from the United States Virgin Islands & This was the go to Drink when I was in Elementary lol. I Basically Drank this Stuff from 1st Grade to 9th Grade when it stared becoming less Available. Why did they Stop Shipping to my Island!?! Bring it back, I'll Buy em all on a UpMarked Price lol
I remember LOVING this sugary red ambrosia as a child on the West Coast of Canada in the early '70s - came in a great big tin you had to open with a can opener. I also remember the amazing sugar rush - mums wouldn"t let me drink it after mid-afternoon!
Jungle Juice was made by the Hansell Company, Masterson, New York. Looks around 1975 to '77. Sold as powder mix or in small cartons. Cartoon Jungle animals pictured on all. Not available in my area (Wisconsin).
