Oh they were so good!! I remember my high school friend Christy worked at Jack in the Box and thought it would be great to eat a hot, fresh lemon pie straight from the fryer....not such a great idea! She got blisters all over her lips-ouch!
I loved those when I was a kid. Whataburgers are good but nothing like the old JIB ones. I actually sent an email to corporate asking them to bring them back..lol.

Coachella Valley all my life there was only one Jack-in-the-Box and I remember those days about those nice lemon pies I've always crave for many years I just found this website so here's my two cents which they probably cost back then bring them back Jibox
I worked at JIB in Phoenix in the 70's. Those pies were the best! I believe they were first introduced at the JIB in Lemon Grove, CA.
How could Jack in the Box stop selling those delicious hot lemon pies? Those were absolutely THE BEST! Today's fast food simply can't compete in quality or taste.
I remember back in the day I would actually ride the bus to get my lemon pies yes plural. Since they didn’t have a JIB in my area I would ride bus and once I got there I would buy 4 or 5 and take them hope for snack later. I was so disappointed when they stop selling those delicious lemon turnovers. No one could ever duplicate them. Bring them back I am sure they had a loyal following.

I periodically check the web to see if I can find any information on those lemon pies that JIB used to sell in the 70's. Still to this day I crave their lot lemon pies. The apple was great too. The crust was unbelievably good. Why on Earth would they stop making something that was so good. We need to petition for JIB or some other fast food to pick up the recipe and bring them back!
