These cakes were available individually wrapped or in a family-sized box. They were so good, but seem to have disappeared. I remember them first from the mid-seventies commercial where a mom was trying to get her family to come down to breakfast by calling upstairs, "Breakfast!!!...." and when she got no response from her husband and children, she says "....with Hostess doughnuts!" That got everyone's attention, and they all came running. I remember that on the plate with the Hostess doughnuts, she also had Hostess crumbcakes, which were little round cakes with a brown crumble sort of topping. They were so good! My sister and I loved them!
