I attended a small, rural elementary school back in the Sixties. I remember I could hardly wait for school to be over and I could take my nickel and buy a Hollywood Candy Bar! The school had a tiny "store" in which they sold school supplies and candy!

Back in grade school, in the early '70s, I enjoyed freezing Hollywood Candy Bars. They were fantastic when eaten cold. The Hollywood bars disappeared from southern NJ around 1975 ending a favorite childhood treat. C'est la vie!
