Description
This was basically a long, skinny,not as tangy green apple jolly rancher. It came wrapped in clear cellophane with grasshopper writen down the length in white. It was about 2 1/2 inches long.

I loved this candy. I remember buying this candy every summer when I went to visit family down in Texas back in the late 70's and early 80's. When ever I ask if anyone remembers it, they all look at me like I'm crazy, glad to know I wasn't imagining things.
I loved this candy as a kid in Kentucky. Too sad I can't find them now.

I loved the green Grasshopper candy sticks as well! I SO wish I could find them!!
I'm looking for them now. I lived in NY during 1980's and was shocked to find them in a bodega in the Bx. I used to buy them in my Catholic grammar school in Manhattan for a penny. Anyway, whenI was pregnant in the 80s, a girlfriend bought me 2 boxes from the bodega when I told her that I had seen them there and was urging some more. GB her... but I've never found them again. 😒 Wish I did because they weren't as sour as the jolly ranchers. Being a stick I recall sucking the tips so long it would become so pointy one could pierce skin with it. lololol
