Grape Pop-Tarts were the best flavor ever! I wish they would bring them back. I liked to heat them in the toaster and then put butter on the icing. Yum!

The original flavor was Concord Grape (filling) Pop Tarts. This first came out in 1968, but disappeared by 1985. From the Saturday morning cartoon vault, TV commercials first aired on the 30-minute "Archie" cartoon show over CBS (9/28/68), and the "Banana Splits Adventure Hour" over NBC (10/5/68), both with Kelloggs as the only sponsor. Concord Grape Pop Tarts were not frosted until 1970.

Just bought Grape flavored Pop Tars back in fall at Wal Mart. It was a limited edition flavor.
