I remember when I was a kid going through the drive through at Del Taco..it was the greasiest mexican food and the beans were so stiff or runny. But on the other hand it was the best food I think. My parents used to go there with us kids alot. Very classic food for the era

I live in St. Louis Missouri and there are still several Del Tacos in the area, one of them being right up the road from where I live. I love there spicy burritos!!!

Del Taco is still alive and well in So. Californina. Way better than Taco Bell...

I grew up in Barstow, California where Del Taco started. I lived across the street from the family that started them all off. We have Del Tacos up here in the Sacramento area but they're just not the same. Barstow is the best place to get the things you can't get anywhere else. Tostadas, combo cups, tacos with tomato slice on top and bun tacos. Incredible stuff.

There's a Del Taco in or near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and it's quite busy.

There's a Del Taco in Flagstaff, Arizona. My wife and I used to go there all the time when we were dating, and every time we visit the in-laws we stop by for old time's sake.

Remember the old school hot sauce? Came in a small white like bucket with a foil peel-back lid. Need some photos of that.

Since Del Taco was purchased by Yum! brands, their quality is now garbage. They used to hand make everything: hand shredded cheese made of cheddar and Monterey Jack- they now use a sort of "squeeze cheese" icky product on their quesadillas. Del Taco USED TO use skirt steak for their steak product- it is now a hardened, square shaped bit of pegs made of beef in its place. They have truly gotten just miserable- their food is no longer discernible from the dreaded Taco Bell.
