My Mom used to buy these for me all the time, they were the best potato chips in a can. Especially the BBQ flavor

Here what it says on the can of Daddy Crisps about the potato chips: "There's only one thing to start with when you're making real potato chips...You got it - Real Potatoes. The Daddy Crisps promise.. We Promise: Daddy Crisps is 100% natual. There's no preservatives added, nothing artificial. We Promise: Daddy Crisps is made from the finest fresh potatoes, cooked in vegetable oil and sealed airtight while they're still warm. You can't buy a fresher potato chip than Daddy Crisps. In the '70 I was a vendor selling printing, business forms etc. I dealt directly With Ray Francis. What a character! You would walk into his office and on his desk would be several bowls of potato chips and some coke/pepsi too. Before any business started you had to out try all the chips and correctly identify Daddy Crisp! I always got it right. It was truly my favorite chip! Very Salty! Always brought a smile to Rays face.

I worked at Daddy Crisp in the 1970s near Atlanta. Ray was a down to earth fellow and a good man to work for. I can remember his two children coming with him to his office once. Nice kids, I heard later after he moved to CA. his son got mixed up in unsavory things...Sad..
