Description
Sort of like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, but the chocolate part was crunch, maybe with coconut or nuts in it, and the center was marshmallow.

Cup O Gold chocolate treats were made by Hoffman's out of Los Angeles. The core was white, resembling Mallo Cups. Reminiscent of California's Gold Rush days, a cartoon prospector became part of the logo. The few images I could find indicate these began in 1960s, continuing into 1980s.
