These were so great. I would walk around with one hanging from my mouth, acting like I was smoking. Remember when smokers were COOL? LOL

Candy Baron in Eugene, OR at the 5th Street Public Market has candy cigarettes and bubblegum cigars. And no, they weren't outlawed, at least to the best of my knowledge.

i have a wonderful memory of my Uncle Victor coming over to my grandparents house and he would be all sneaky and would pull out 2 gum cigars and he would always ask my sister and i if we were old enough to smoke ... They always remind me of him..

When the ice cream truck comes, my friends and I always buy candy cigarettes.

I saw bubblegum cigars yesterday at a One Stop in Charleston, WV - thought about buying one but can't really chew gum now due to TMJ ... which I probably got from chewing rock-hard gum in the 70s.

I remember that the candy cigarettes tasted like chalk. They were beyond cool.

I can remember bubble gum cigarettes with a thin paper wrapper and if you blew on the end it looked like a puff of smoke came out. I think it was just powdered sugar that the gum was rolled in.
