Description
It was a round chocolate covered snack cake similar to a Ring-Ding. The mascot was an Indian named "Chief Big Wheel"

These were made by hostess. They were actually ding dongs but for some reason on the east coast they were called Big Wheels.

The reason they were called Big Wheels here in the east was because Drake's was already selling Ring-Dings here. So as not to have too much confusion between the products, Hostess chose to call them Big Wheels.

to me it was like a funny bone with a different shape and filling. same chocolate coating and cake as a funny bone.
