Description
One of Taco Bell's original 6 items was a hamburger bun with taco meat, shredded lettuce and cheese. Like a Mexican Manwich.

the best thing taco bell ever made. too bad they're gone. We have a place out here in southern cali called Bakers' that sells them
but calls them "taco burger"..
Bell Beefers...yum!! Taco meat lettuce & cheese on a hamburger bun. What made them extra yummy, was the fresh steamed bun. Nice and soft and chewy.
When my daughter was little, this was the only thing she would eat at Taco Bell. I started eating them and fell instantly in love!!!! I hated when they discontinued them. The other day while making tacoes at home, I happened to think about these. Guess what I made myself for supper?? LOL They were good, but Taco Bells were MUCH better!
I just enjoyed A bell beefer. (well two) at a taco bell in cali!!! The taco bell in el monte! The address is 4134 N peck rd., they are not on the menu just ask if they have them,order and enjoy!!! Let's bring them back already!!
I just finished eating two bell beefers from the taco bell in el monte and yes they were a tasty treat!
Unfortunately, all items at Taco Bell don't taste as good as in the 1970's. The cheese was better then, and the recipe for their meat was much better back then. The bell beefer was definitely a favorite.
