Description
This was a great cereal from the early '70's ... anyone remember the balsa wood airplanes that came in the boxes ? They came in either red or "grape" colors.

I mourned the disappearance of BVR and Sir Grapefellow when the trio of Monster cereals (Count Chocula, Frankenberry and Boo Berry) were released. I felt incredibly loved when my on-a-tight-budget father would spring for a few boxes for me whenever I had done something really good or (more frequently) had suffered yet another defeat at sports due to my diminutive height. My favorite breakfast of all time still remains a bowl or two of Baron Von Redberry and toast w/ butter. Sigh. I think I'll go bake a strawberry cake with strawberry frosting. I should be able to find a bi-plane to decorate it around here somewhere.
