Description
The precursor to Ultra Slim Fast and other diet shakes proved again that saccharine and chocolate don't mix. It's greatest claim to fame that it sponsored Rate-a-Record on "American Bandstand".

The chocolate flavor was very good if you blended it with a banana.
They still sell this stuff in stores, at least in Washington state.
What exactly did the '77 stand for? My Mom ate this every mornnig for breakfast. I can hear the blend whirring.....
It's called Alba Fit & Frosty now and they have it in the diet section in supermarkets. No clue what the '77 stood for. They also used to have a warm version called Alba '66. My grandmother used to drink Alba '77 back in the early 80's and I loved it! It was soooooo foamy!
