My brother wore these. They came in funky colors, rust,hunter green, a weird bright blue. Real funky.

I wore these in grade school. The fabric was really stiff and they had panels sewn inside the knees that was even stiffer. They never did wear through.

My brothers wore these and had every color they were sold in. My grandparents bought them at Sears and also both the matching jean jackets and coordinating striped shirts. They wore them EVERYWHERE and like Jeff said they never wore out.

I remember having some rust-colored ones in the early 70s. I think they were made of some synthetic denim, because they were uncomfortably warm.
