Sweet baby Jane was an off shoot of Plain Jane along with Jasmine tee's and later grew into Esprit de corp.

i bought this old vintage SBJ blouse off of Ebay about 4 years ago, i ABSOLUTELY LOVE it ! i had full intentions of wearing it for myself, but now pregnant with my 3rd, i decided to upcycle it into a shirred shirt dress for my 4 year old daughter instead :)

The store in West Palm Beach, Florida was always fun to go to. I bought quite a few things there including the most adorable pink blouse. The clothing really was unique. Please bring back the store...

I still own a beautiful pink, 70,s satin blouse. I love wearing it for parties & love all the comments people make! My husband says I look great in it! I can,t bring myself to part with it.

I used to work at Esprit in San Francisco in the early 1970's when they had just had their first order for Europe, specifically Germany. It was a lovely factory with plants, quilts, good lighting and a trampoline on the roof overlooking Potrero Hill. It was interesting, but I had a hard time with factory work, too monotonous, but no fault of the owners.

Sweet Baby Jane was THE brand to look for in the late 70s. Very feminine, little floral prints, smocked tops, gauzy fabrics. This is a typical SBJ blouse: http://tinyurl.com/l49s3q5
