I loved my sailor type jeans. The only problem was that you had to make sure you were "straight" when you snapped them back on or you could put the snaps in the wrong places and everything would show.

Seafare Jeans had no side seams, two patch pockets in the front and two slightly larger patch packets at the back, a single centred zip fly or centre buttons(they were not really "sailor" pants)and you could not start grade eight in 1975 with out a pair Vancouver, BC. Also, you had to have North Star running shoes. Like addidas but only two stripes.

I had many pairs of those jeans! Growing up they were the jean to have. Not only had they been cool, but had been very comfortable.
