I talked my hubby into advertising his business on a copper colored satin jacket. I loved it!

My coolest outfit of all was my off-white painter's pants, my Sylvester STallone (Rocky) t-shirt and my red satin baseball jacket, oh yeah and my red and white suede puma sneakers...I was 13.

I had a red one, with white piping, that I used to wear with my blue & white Jox sneakers- the epitome of cool!

I had the cream satin one with matching shorts, I'd wear tenni's with them out of the house then switch to wedges, I felt so grown up.

I had a blue satin jacket with the matching blue satin shorts, they were fun, fun, fun to wear! I wore cork wedges with them most of the time, they made the legs and rear look good. It seemed like when I wore them out to dance or some crowded place that no guy (sometimes no person) could go by you without brushing you or having to rest his hand on you as he went by, so the guys must have liked it too! My memories are nothing short of great on them because I was wearing them when I ended up meeting my future husband, who told me in the later years that it was love at first sight!

I remember this look, it's one memory that hasn't faded! Combine one pretty girl with one nice figure. Mix with little satin shorts and satin jacket. Throw in tall wedges for spice, and presto, you have eye candy that could turn any guy into a babbling baby, pure putty in the hands of a masterful chef. The girls usually wore the jacket zipped 2/3rd's the way up, like a top. I was always curious though, which tells you how much candy I got when I was young, what they wearing underneath the jacket because you never saw a t-shirt or anything showing, it was always skin.....

Sweet tooth, you babbling baby, be thinking that your instinct was right on, remember, the 70's was a time of bra burning. I uaually wasn't wearing anything underneath my little satin jacket, or the shorts either... I knew that boys liked them, but didn't know that much. If I could go back in time, I'd have a lot more babbling going on!

too funny, those little satin jackets were cute and when they were paired with the satin shorts, they became super cute, and when the jacket and shorts were paired with heels, they became mega hot, and when there was nothing underneath the jacket, too hot to handle!

I had a satin jacket, but no matching shorts and I wore something underneath it. I did wear heels with jeans when I wore it but so did everyone else. It was very fun, felt great, and I loved the look but I guess I missed all the really fun stuff!

baby blue! And I certainly did wear something under it-I was in junior high. Satin jacket, double belt jeans, or pulses with one of those skinny gold metal stretchy belts, plain white Nikes.

The boy friend I have loves me dressing up in old '70s and '80s satin prom dresses. I have 10 of them we have found at Goodwill stores. I have kinds of colors of them. The colors back then were nice. The satin feels nice too. I found a pink satin jacket from the 1970's. Also speaking of satin shorts and a satin jacket, we found a plumb color matching set of satin shorts and satin jacket. I think only rich people wore such things back then. Now I wear heels with them along with those shiny leggs brand pantyhose. The kind they wore in dance clubs in the 1970's.
