My cousin and I would collect sasson jeasn ,they were a perfect fit! every friday we would go to the skating rink and we had to have those along with the chic jeans with the split on the sides and no pockets
I had a few pairs each of Sasson jeans,Sergio Valenti, Gloria Vanderbilt and also Calvin Kleins first jeans. I remember having them when I was 25 which would have been in 1979 or 1980. I wish I wouldn't have given them to Goodwill, I could make a fortune off them today.
l am 51 years when l went looking for secondhand clothes (i sell preloved clothes on the net) l found a pair of SASSON jeans.....l remember VIDAL SASSON......i used to get hair cut at his academy in London in the 70s. How to check how much they are worth.l live in Malaysia now.
Similar to Sheronda who posted above, I would wear Sassons and go rollerskating with my friends. We were 12 and 13 at the time, but thought we were very cool. After all, the tv commercials lead us to believe in the power of "designer jeans" ;) just kidding.
I think I also had tan and brown Sasson cords (corduroys) - all were worn with a big comb in the back pocket, very cool for Long Island.

Did sasson jeans have a sign that lookeed like a hand. If so, I got a awesome pair of Sassons at my local walmart superstore for $29.99
I have two pairs of Sasson jeans, a pair of Gloria Vanderbilt, and a pair of Oscar Dela Renta jeans. How do you find out the value of these jeans?
I used to work in design at vidal Sassoon clothing distributors, we had the licence to produce other clothing too and had the Jean production in Maurituis. I did the Portuguese production of sweatshirts. There must have been a connection as we bought discounted hair products from our where house and I git fair vouchers to use at the saloon!
