Type of clothing:
When it was popular:
Description: Popular suit for men, around '73 to '74. Complete suit with trousers, "jacket", and "Australian style" safari or guide's hat (brim at one side bent up vertically for rakish effect), sometimes with leopard print style fabric band around hat. "Jacket" was really a shirt with large pockets, some styles also had decorative loops for shotgun cartridges (this was a safari suit, after all). "Jacket" and trousers usually light brown color. Could be worn with modest (thin) gold neck chain. Often worn with white shoes with 1" platforms.
