Type of clothing:
When it was popular:
Description: I think these were late 70s, early 80s: winter boots with platforms that look like something Neil Armstrong would wear, except for the colors -- mine had three or four different shades of bright blue, but they came in all colors.

I wore "Moon" boots in 1976 as my "after-ski" boots. They were royal blue with red and yellow accents. They were puffy, warm and comfortable after a day of heavy ski boots. They were a Christmas gift from a boyfriend and I thought they were the best gift ever!

There were a range of Moon Boots popular in the UK in the mid-1980s - they were usually plain and bright pink. I got mine in 1984 when I was ten and they were the height of fashion!

I can't remember if I had a pair of these.
