Description: Big, puffy jacket. Made you look huge! Colors I remember were bright green, orange and blue. Nerd city, but tres cool back then! Mine was a cheap version!

Those of us who were into snow skiing wore these for a reason. And then we'd wear them off the slopes to be cool too. We though that non-skiers were ridiculous when they wore them. Ah to be a snow bunny in the powdery Utah snow again!!!
I think Mork and Mindy really brought that trend in! I had the jacket and you zipped the sleeves out to make the vest. My mom would get so mad when I would do that. She would say I was going to ruin the jacket.
It says John Denver all over it!
Still have one, myself. Would love to know of anyplace that still sells these vests, they are still perfect for farming and hunting.
I had a dowm filled one -loved it .It was stoena at a wedding when I was about 19. I was in Wal-Mart and guess what THEY'RE BACK!!!! Both vest and Jackets
In the late 70s, I had a black one with a diagonal red and green stripe across the chest. Very warm.
