I had them the shorter the better. I looked so good in them. What happened? Thirty five years thats what!!!

We wore ours cut real short, then split them up the side seam as high as we dared & embroidered them w/flowers, vines, etc. Made 'Daisy Dukes' look positively modest! Ah yes-those were the days!!

These were sort of the default shorts worn by men and women in the 70s, very short but somehow more natural-looking than exhibitionist. I remember how odd it was to see longer shorts come back in the 80s.
