Description: These were loose fitting, mostly made of thin floaty sheer material (like muslin) with 3/4 length sleeves, a round or square neckline, and an alternating length hem (butterfly hem - they usually had rickrack or ribbon trim on them - real fluttery and cool and a staple of our high school wardrobe.

I still yearn for my old butterfly tops! They were pretty, feminine, light and very comfortable! Wish I could remember the designer/manufacturer...
